Extract Audio pulls the soundtrack out of a video — a lecture, an interview, a music clip — and saves it as an MP3, WAV or AAC file. It runs locally with the bundled ffmpeg engine; the video never leaves your device.
MP3 is the default and the most portable output. Choose WAV for a lossless, uncompressed track you plan to edit, or AAC for Apple-friendly size.

- Drop your video — Any format ffmpeg reads — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and more.

Good to know
- Replace source is ON by default — it overwrites originals with no backup. Turn it off in Settings › General to keep both.
- Only the audio track is written — video is discarded.
- A video with no audio track produces no usable output.
- The free plan processes 8 files per calendar day.
Tips
- Choose MP3 for sharing; choose WAV if you plan to clean up or edit the audio afterwards.
- To also remove background noise from the extracted track, run Voice Cleanup on it (an on-device AI tool).
- For a batch of videos, drop them all — each produces its own audio file.

Does it work on any video?
