How To Use Resize (Pixels) Offline
- Open Resize — Under Image Tools, or search "resize" with ⌘/Ctrl+K.
- Drop the images — Drag in one photo or a batch — JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more.
- Choose how to resize — Pixels for exact dimensions, Percentage for relative scaling, a Preset (150 px thumbnail, 1280×720 HD, 4K, Instagram, Facebook, X), or Social Media Resize for per-platform sizes.
- Process — Resized files are written to your output folder — ~/Documents/1FileTool by default.

Good to know
- Upscaling does not create detail — enlarging a small image keeps its original sharpness at best.
- Preset resizes use cover fit — the image is cropped to fill the exact dimensions.
- Replace source is ON by default; turn it off in Settings › General to keep originals.
- The free plan processes 8 files per calendar day.
Tips
- For web upload limits, resize first, then Compress — smaller dimensions + lower bytes.
- Use Social Media Resize for one drop → Instagram post, story, X header, LinkedIn banner, YouTube thumbnail.
- Percentage is the safest bet when batch-processing mixed sizes — every image shrinks uniformly.
